Very nice restaurant. Delicious Wiener Schnitzel.

Very good food (schnitzel), unfortunately only half the size it used to be and I haven't been full. It is quite possible that I had bad luck with the piece. Unfortunately, the payment process took a lot of time, I had to ask three times and waited 10 minutes before I could pay. Not really a problem, but not ideal for lunch. Nevertheless, Das Rialto would always recommend it.

Very pleasant atmosphere, the service always helpful and super friendly. The food was very tasty, the veal escalope and the tartar as well. Extensive wine list that leaves nothing to be desired. Price performance is right. From our side, recommended.

[update] After several visits I can only confirm my rating again. The drink recommendations are very appropriate and never imposed. Huge selection ... and the food ... amazing! Three kinds of cauliflower with edible leaves? Never seen before, tried ... an absolute recommendation while stocks last! .... I was able to speak briefly with the artist behind the dishes yesterday ... Not yet a star chef, but soon! Top guy! 😊 [old post] Great location, friendly atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly service.

Very delicious and excellent food. Super friendly and motivated staff. Menu was very straightforward and well designed. Waiting time was also very pleasant. Always worth a visit, especially when accompanied. Top recommendation in Hamburg.

Nice food, but very bad service. We were looked at angry all the time and when we wanted to order something it was like we didn't exist. Don't go!

Eating at the Rialto is delicious. You get a main course, wine and water for less than € 40 pp. Dishes are lovingly prepared and the staff is friendly. The bridge looks a lot in the evening, but is quite cool in the wind. We preferred to sit down with the other guests. Gladly again, thank you very much.

Simply incredible !! I recomand this restaurant which has been a really great surprise to me ! Amazing experiment for me and my wife ! An explosion of flavors for a very correct price ! Making such delight dishes from basic ingredients is a little miracle ! And the service was perfect ! Thank you !!

New management and new suit, distinct taste

Good Food but unfriendly Staff. Rialto undoubtedly serves very decent food and boasts an atmosphere that is well fit for a business lunch or dinner. However, it is also one of those places where staff makes everyone feel like a nuisance who should feel honoured to be granted a seat, somewhar ruining the atmosphere. Beware, drinks are redicilously overpriced. But if you are looking for a very decent authentic Wiener Schnitzel, Rialto is the place to go. So I'd still recommend it despite the sometimes unbearably unwelcoming staff.

.... there is NO star. Had in November for the 21.12. reserved, yesterday evening I stood in front of a locked door: closed for renovation until March! I did not receive any notification, so I had a wonderful meal with the Portuguese "Ola lisboa"!

Delicious food and attentive service. Great atmosphere. Unfortunately a bit loud when all tables are full. But you can still talk well at the table. We recommend!

Nice located pleasant restaurant, upscale class. Small menu with reasonably good selection, a menu suggestion, variety of vegetarian dishes could be larger. The portions are okay, the service friendly and attentive. In the front area they are bar and a few tables, here also smoking is allowed.

Food good, schnitzel great, but incomprehensible annoyance about credit card payments, which are only sometimes accepted. Absolutely not appropriate for a restaurant, in which also business customers come with company cards (should). If you do not want to be a snack and want to run an upscale restaurant in downtown Hamburg, it should be a matter of course that credit card payments are accepted.

A classic here in Hamburg.. One of the few restaurants where you can smoke inside :).

Went here for a after dinner drink on a Tuesday evening, but it was impossible to get any attention from the staff since they were more busy talking to each other - so we left and found a place the was more customer orientated

Nice view and amazing atmosphere. Great place for coffee but the cake tasted very dry.

I visited Rialto for Sunday dinner, had two starters and a main. The food was fantastic, I got to sit on a table on the bridge, so overall a very unique experience. Friendly personell

The probably legendary Wiener Schnitzel for a top price of 14 € is of course the recommendation. The rest of the lunch table also reads well. Unfortunately a bit loud in the back, but gladly again ;-)

Delicious food in a really pleasant atmosphere. Tip top, first class. Without much frills. The food itself could be a whistle more perfect. Still excellent evening, anytime again

Nice location. Very good food. Not so comfortable chairs.

Perfectly prepared trout. The lamb was (although I was sceptical about the lamb being well prepared) the best one I've ever had. Nevertheless smoking indoors spoiled most of the gusto. Gross.

Nice venue but freezing. Well arranged but table wobbling. Dishes sound fancy but taste average. Service friendly but often not professional. Can't really keep what they promise.

Food is delicious A bit overpriced

Food is good, service is excellent, desserts is one of the best I have tried. Only thing - we were sitting in no smoking area, but at home we smelled sigarets like we were in the middle of smoking palace. Had to take shower at home. But food and service- really good. Visited this restaurant in november 2014.

+ Delicious modern German fare with an European twist, + nice modern industry design, - too smoky at the front, loud I like the Rialto in Hamburg since it is located off the main tourist paths at Fleetinsel (metro: Roedingsmarkt or Stadthausbruecke) close to Hamburg’s center and hotels like the Steigenberger and Dorint. The food is outstanding, the service very attentive and I recommend to come here for a dinner with friends or even a business meeting. The menu changes often but if listed try their Wiener Schnitzel! They also offer a prix fix 3-course dinner and have a wide wine selection. However, the fact that the restaurant is split into a non-smoking (back) and smoking area might have an impact on my next visit. After a delicious dinner you have to pass the smoking area at the exit/entrance and take the smoke with you outside. Kind of a pain. + excellent food + great wines + nice interior design - smoking area, try to sit in the back behind the curtain - very loud if packed with larger groups - no credit cards PS: This is no budget restaurant! The menu is around EUR 35-45 per person, single entrees around EUR 20-28. Please note they do not accept credit cards!!!

The restaurant is easily located close to the centre of the town. It has a delicious lunch menu. I can tell that the food is outstanding and the prices are reasonable.
